Social / Emotional 

Social-emotional learning is being mentioned more often recently for good reason. Researchers are finding that if students do not have solid social-emotional skills, other skills that we teach them will cease to matter much. Employers and those in higher education are consistently reporting that in a digital age, applicants are struggling to master the soft skills that are still so valuable. Working as part of a team, active listening, communicating clearly and coping with emotions are just a few of the things we are working towards through our core curriculum, in small groups, and in individual sessions. Please look below for some great social emotional resources that can easily be practiced at home.
